Flintridge Sacred Heart’s Isabella Durand Interviewed About Artwork on Display at LA Cathedral

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy’s Isabella Durand was recently interviewed about her artwork the “Peruvian retablos” (a ceramic and wood creation) at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Check out this interview in the Angelus News with Isabella Durand ’21 and Ms. Kent about Isabella’s art work on display at the Robert Graham Memorial exhibit at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

“For my art to be here — knowing that it’s going to be seen by so many people — it’s just really overwhelming. For my inspiration for my piece, it came back to where my faith began, which was with my grandmother,” Isabella said. “She’s really the person who really introduced me to the faith and really helped cultivate it, especially when I was younger.”
