Four Year Art Program at La Salle College Preparatory

Since the Arts have been recognized as a major discipline and La Salle College Preparatory School (LCP)

School is dedicated to a college preparatory curriculum, the Visual and Performing Arts Department has developed a four year Visual and Performing Arts Curriculum. La Salle High School’s Visual and Performing Arts Department attracts and serves students interested in pursuing a higher education in the arts.

La Salle High School offers a four-year Visual and Performing Arts programs in the following disciplines:

Broadcast Journalism
Choral Music
Dance
Film and Television
Instrumental Music
Theatre/Drama
Visual Arts

La Salle High School is the only high school in the San Gabriel Valley that offers these four-year programs.

La Salle graduates have been accepted to top rated schools with programs in fine arts, theater, movie production, design and dance. Schools include:

Loyola Marymount University
Otis Parsons College of Art and Design
The University of California at Los Angeles

La Salle Faculty has years of professional experience, and most have post graduate degrees in art, theater, music and education.

La Salle Students involved in the visual and performing arts have the opportunity to participate in many performance productions over the course of one academic year.

The film lab is equipped with state of the art equipment and is an Apple Authorized Training Center for Education (AATCE)

Students in all disciplines have won awards in their respective art form, whether it is visual art, dance, film, music and theatre.
