“From Your Home to Ours: Learn What Makes Immaculate Heart Special”

Looking out over the Immaculate Heart campus from the cafeteria deck, one of the many views of campus available from our interactive campus map at www.immaculateheart.org/CampusMap.

Interested students can join us for a sneak peek at our classes – and discover the joys of being an Immaculate Heart Panda! Registration is now open for a variety of virtual offerings, including Student Shadow Visits, and Information Meets. Even a virtual campus tour is now only a click away from home.

This year, both Immaculate Heart High School and Immaculate Heart Middle School have moved traditional admissions events online to ensure health safety. However, prospective students can still experience campus life through virtual classroom visits. Those interested can also sign up for virtual information sessions about the IH experience. Here’s a closer look at what both schools have on tap in the weeks ahead and how you can register today:

Our Interactive Campus Map
Visit www.immaculateheart.org/CampusMap for your own convenient online campus tour from home. Students and their families can explore the Immaculate Heart campus, including its garden setting, school facilities and classrooms. Clicking on designated map locations will reveal galleries of photos and snapshots of student life.

During the Middle School Shadow Visits, prospective students will have the opportunity to speak with a current Student Council member and sit in on classes. Register for Shadow Visits at www.immaculateheart.org/ShadowIHMS.

Immaculate Heart Middle School Events
Immaculate Heart Middle School is offering online Shadow Visits starting again in January. Incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who are interested in entering IHMS in the next school year can schedule one-hour virtual visits. Each “shadow” student will be virtually accompanied by a Student Council member and get to pop into three classes, meet teachers, and later participate in a question and answer session with our administrators. Space is limited and reservations are required.

“Middle School Meets” will take place every other Friday morning at 10 a.m. beginning in January. These online sessions via Google Meet will give prospective students and their parents the opportunity to learn about the IHMS academic program and extracurricular offerings from administrators. Visit www.immaculateheart.org/ShadowIHMS for more information, and to register for both Shadow Visits and “Middle School Meets.”

Immaculate Heart High School Events
Registration for Immaculate Heart High School’s Virtual Shadow Visits is now open on the IH website. Shadow Visits resume after break on Tuesday, January 26, and will continue on designated dates through February. Via Google Meet, eighth grade shadow students will be introduced to Kelli O’Brian, IHHS Associate Director of Admissions, and then will join a live class with our high school students and faculty. Afterward, shadow students will view recordings of select classes of interest, so they can experience Immaculate Heart’s engaging classroom environment. Space is limited and reservations are required.

The IHHS Admissions team’s “Hangout with IH” virtual information sessions will resume in the 2021-22 school year. Families with specific questions about IHHS are welcome to contact our Admissions team directly to arrange an individual meeting to address their inquiries by calling (323) 461-3651, ext. 800, or emailing admissions@immaculateheart.org.
