Frostig School is welcoming new members of its community by reintroducing its mission and the unique educational experience it provides. The school is dedicated to empowering students with learning differences to thrive academically, socially, and beyond, helping each student build confidence and develop the skills needed for success.
Who We Are
Frostig School is a close-knit learning community where students with learning differences are seen for their strengths, supported in their challenges, and encouraged to thrive. We offer a full range of academic and support services for neurodivergent learners from first grade through high school.
A Proud History
Frostig School was founded in 1951 by Dr. Marianne Frostig, a renowned, pioneering advocate for children with learning differences. Dr. Marianne Frostig authored numerous papers, articles, and books on learning differences throughout her lifetime. Today, our school continues to build upon Dr. Frostig’s legacy by providing an education that honors the dignity of every child.
Two Campuses, One Heart
We are located in both Pasadena and West Los Angeles. Frostig School West opened its doors in 2019 to meet the needs of our families located in West Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Both campuses are built on our five core values: community, achievement, individuality, dignity, and kindness.
