Helping Seniors Navigate Changes to the College Application Process

This year the college application process will be unlike any before. In response to the pandemic, colleges across the country have made significant changes to their requirements.

No one really knows yet how these changes will impact decisions, but the Counseling Department is here to help Maranatha families navigate these unique times. Seniors and their parents will want to attend Senior College Night on September 22 at 6:00 p.m. The online (Zoom) presentation will cover important information related to the college application process including procedures, deadlines, SAT testing, and financial aid.

During the presentation, parents and students will be able to submit questions through Zoom’s chat feature, which our College Counselors will answer after the presentation. The Zoom login information will be emailed directly to senior families a few days prior to the event, however, if you need more information, please contact Teresa Petersen at t_petersen@mhs-hs.org.
