Helping the Homeless: Making a Difference for Someone Sleeping on the Streets

Meet St. Francis sophomore Shane Dimoski ‘23. For the last six months he has been going on 20 mile bike rides with his sister before school. Shane noticed the need in the homeless sites that he passed along the way. He went home and told his mom that he wanted to help the homeless as much as he could. In turn, he decided to fill a bike trailer with snacks and attach it to his bike. He passes out bags filled with essential items such as gift cards, sanitizing wipes, and snacks. For the school’s most recent service project Shane put together over 400 snack packs. “St. Francis High School is grateful for all your hard work Shane!”
