Holy Family Kindergarten Daisies Honor Local Firefighters with Gift Basket

Service to the community is a fundamental pillar of Holy Family Catholic School and an integral part of its Girl Scout program. Demonstrating this commitment, Kindergarten Daisy Troop #4266 came together on Sunday, February 9th, to show their appreciation for local first responders. Following the 9:30 a.m. Mass, the young scouts assembled a thoughtful gift basket for the South Pasadena Fire Department, recognizing their dedication and tireless efforts in keeping the community safe.

Their gratitude was especially heartfelt in light of the department’s recent response to the Eaton Fires, where firefighters worked diligently to protect homes and residents. Through acts of kindness like this, Holy Family School and its Girl Scouts continue to instill the values of service, gratitude, and community spirit in their students.

“At Holy Family Catholic School, we passionately instill Christian values and Catholic principles in our students, guiding them through the Gospel message of Jesus Christ: Faith, Community, Service, and Excellence. These principles are the foundation of our community and the essence of our mission.”
