Holy Family School 5th Graders 2023 Coffee Shop and Silent Art Auction Supporting WWF – A Success

Holy Family School congratulate its 5th Graders on a very successful 2023 5th Grade Coffee Shop and Silent Art Auction supporting the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

This past year, HFS 5th graders have participated in the Pastoral Intergenerational Art Ministry at Holy Family. Meeting weekly, the students and volunteer seniors of our parish work together to create works of art that are then auctioned off at the Annual Coffee Shop. This year, all pieces were bid on, and a total of $1355.00 was raised for this year’s chosen charity, the World Wildlife Fund.

Additionally, the students each prepared poems to be read during the silent auction in “coffeehouse beatnik” style. Special Thanks to 5th-grade teacher, Mrs. Moeller, Mrs. Yvette Rodriguez, who heads up Intergenerational Art Ministry, and to parent volunteers who set up everything, handled the silent auction, food, and of course coffee!
