In HFS’ classrooms, online and in books the school Celebrate Black History commemorate historic figures and important moments in African American history; President Barack Obama & Mrs. Obama, Martin Luther King, Jr., Katherine Johnson, Dr. Julian M. Earls, Jean-Michael Basquiat, Rosa Parks, the Tuskegee Airmen, Harriet Tubman, the Civil Rights movement, the Civil War and more.
