Hope for the Future Takes Root at High Point Academy

This week, the team at High Point participated in the “Great Altadena Poppy Project,” planting poppy seeds in areas of our campus impacted by the Eaton Fire to mark its one-year anniversary. This ambitious community effort aims to sow 100 million poppy seeds throughout the fire-affected region, and we are honored to join this movement—one rooted in remembrance, renewal, and hope for the future.

As we head into 2026 with hope and optimism, we are also pausing to reflect on the challenges of the past year and the deep gratitude we feel for our close-knit community. At this meaningful milestone, “HPA Strong” truly resonates and serves as a reminder of our ongoing commitment to stand united in support of one another.

In the words of René Amy, founder of the Great Altadena Poppy Project, “California poppies exemplify beauty, grace, and resilience.” We feel the same about our High Point family.
