Human Anatomy: La Salle’s Popular Summer Course

Human Anatomy is a popular summer course because of the many dissection labs the students are able to participate in. To gain a better understanding of the intricacies of the central nervous system, students dissected a cow spinal cord and cow eye, revealing the nerve tracts and coverings that connect the central and peripheral nervous systems.

In addition, students were able to take a closer look into the workings of the cardiorespiratory system through the dissection of a sheep pluck, which reveals the trachea, lungs, and heart. La Salle thanks Mrs. Parga for sharing the work her students are doing this summer!
