Immaculate Heart Hosts Upcoming Annual All-School Open House
Immaculate Heart Middle & High School will welcome prospective students and families to its annual All-School Open House on Sunday, September 27, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The afternoon offers an opportunity for prospective students and families to explore the school’s beautiful Los Feliz campus, meet students and faculty, and discover what makes an Immaculate Heart education unique.
As Immaculate Heart begins its 121st school year, the independent Catholic school continues its tradition of educating girls in grades 6–12 to become women of great heart and right conscience. Through a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, a vibrant arts and athletics program, meaningful service opportunities, and a deeply supportive environment, we empower students to discover their passions, develop their voices, and lead with purpose.
At Open House, guests can tour our historic campus, learn more about the Middle School and High School programs, connect with faculty and students, and explore available academic, artistic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities. Families will hear directly from current students about life at IH, including both the seven-year journey from sixth through twelfth grade and the experience of those who join our community in high school.
“Open House is one of the highlights of our year, when we welcome prospective families to campus and give them a true sense of what makes Immaculate Heart special,” said Maureen Diekmann, President. “We want families to experience not only the strength of our college preparatory academic program, but also the warmth, energy, and sense of purpose that define our school.”
Located adjacent to Griffith Park in Los Feliz, Immaculate Heart offers students a distinctive educational experience that combines academic excellence with opportunities to explore, create, compete, and lead. From AP Capstone and an extensive selection of Advanced Placement courses to the renowned Genesians Theater Company, competitive Speech & Debate teams, championship athletic teams, and immersive service-learning experiences, students are encouraged to pursue their interests while developing the confidence and conscience to make a difference in the world around them.
Immaculate Heart Middle & High School is proud to be a place where purpose meets passion, where girls are known and supported, and where they are challenged to become the fullest expression of themselves as they grow into women of great heart and right conscience.
Prospective students and families are invited to register for Open House at https://www.immaculateheart.org/admissions/admissions-events and discover whether Immaculate Heart is the right fit for their educational journey.
