John Muir Mustangs Dominate Glendale, Extend Winning Streak to Six

John Muir High School’s football team extended their impressive winning streak to six games on Friday with a decisive 71-6 victory over Glendale High School’s Nitros. The Mustangs have shown dominance all season, with six of their wins being by margins of 22 points or more.

Jakari Bacot stood out in the game, throwing for 141 yards and scoring four touchdowns on just six passes. Another key contributor was Zion McDonald, who added 90 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

With this win, Muir now holds a 7-2 record and has won their last three games on the road. On the other hand, Glendale High has struggled this season, extending their losing streak to eight games with a record of 1-8.

Looking ahead, Muir’s previous matchup was a 49-13 win over Pasadena on November 1. Glendale, meanwhile, faced another tough defeat in their last game, falling 35-0 to Hoover on the same date.
