Congratulations to Jose Luis Rodriguez who was recognized at the recent PUSD Board Meeting for receiving a Puente Statewide Academic & Leadership Award.

Applicants had to meet the following eligibility criteria:
– Must have been in Puente English grade 9 and grade 10
– Overall academic GPA of 3.5 or higher (9th – 11th grade)
– Be a full time 12th grade student enrolled in 5 or more academic courses
– Demonstrate community leadership
