Junior Public Safety Academy for High School Students this Summer

The Pasadena Police and Fire Departments invite high school students to participate in the Junior Public Safety Academy this summer, a forum where they can experience meaningful interactions with police officers and firefighters.

This five-day training course includes team building, the role of law enforcement, fire safety, CPR, physical conditioning and a graduation ceremony. As part of the curriculum, students go on field trips.

If you are interested in participating in this summer’s JPSA, please contact the Pasadena Police Department Community Services Section at (626) 744-4551 for an application.
