La Canada Unified School District Virtual Learning Options for 2020-2021 School Year
The pre-registration link below is to be completed by elementary families who desire to commit to a 100% virtual learning experience for their student(s) for the 2020-2021 school year. For TK/6 students, this would be the Elementary Virtual Academy, which was detailed in last night’s Town Hall presentation. For the LCHS 7-12 parents, you will complete the pre-registration form if you are interested in your student(s) participating full-time (100%) in a distance learning option for at minimum the first quarter of the 2020-2021 school year.
Details on the LCHS 7-12 Distance Learning option are still being built out, but we are committed to a teacher directed learning experience which follows the daily bell schedule and provides frequent opportunities for “live” interaction with instructors via a digital platform. More information detailing the LCHS 7-12 distance learning opportunity will be provided in as timely a manner as possible while our Secondary Reopening Committee members, district and site administration, and the Governing Board access more information from State and local agencies and from our teacher, staff, and family stakeholders.
