La Salle Honors Educators and Athletes at Annual Founder’s Day Liturgy

Yesterday, La Salle College Preparatory (LSCP) celebrated its annual Founder’s Day Liturgy, honoring St. John Baptist de La Salle and recognizing the extraordinary dedication of its faculty, staff, and the 2024 CIF-SS Champion Boys Tennis team! We proudly announce this year’s recipients, who exemplify our Lasallian values in remarkable ways.

Mrs. Kjersti Holyfield ’04, recipient of the St. Joseph Service Award, exemplifies the Lasallian spirit of service. Celebrated for her daily contributions that uphold our school’s mission, her consistent dedication is shown through patience, understanding, and humor. She selflessly engages in the school’s co-curricular life, expecting no recognition for her efforts.

Mrs. Elsa Ruiz, honored with the Lasallian Educator Award, demonstrates unwavering commitment to her students’ academic and spiritual development. With endless patience and a nurturing approach, she transforms each class into a profoundly enriching experience and supports extracurricular activities, making her an integral part of our school community.

“Join LSCP in celebrating these inspiring leaders and everyone who contributes to the vibrant spirit of La Salle. Your hard work and passion significantly impact our community!”
