La Salle’s Boxes of Love for the Military this Thanksgiving

Despite COVID-19 and distance learning, La Salle College Preparatory’s annual Box of Love drive was a huge success! This project, led by the Support the Troops Club, involves the entire school community. In total, 150 Thanksgiving food boxes were packed with 17 non perishable food items for needy military families and each box also included a $25 voucher for the purchase of a turkey at the commissary on base.

In its 10 years of participating in this annual service project, this was the most successful one to date which just shows that even in the toughest of times the community comes together to accomplish amazing things. LSCP thanks everyone who participated! The military came to campus on Friday, Nov. 20th to collect all of the boxes where the Commanding Officer extended his deepest thanks for the School’s support.
