Maranatha Announces New Cheer Coach

Maranatha’s Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of its new Cheerleading coach, Megan Anten, a Maranatha alum from the Class of 2014.

Coach Anten shared, “I am excited to be back! I was a competitive cheerleader for 8 years and I found my career in the fitness world as a personal trainer. I am currently a gym owner with my husband, and I love what I do! I am excited to have this opportunity to grow the cheer program into something great!”

Athletic Director Sammy Skinner is excited to bring Megan into their family of coaches and said, “Megan brings a great background in cheer, dance, and fitness that will be a valuable resource for all of the students she will mentor both on and off the field. Megan has a strong and authentic faith that will resonate with the students and fellow coaches.”

Coach Anten is looking for Maranatha students who are interested in the 2021-2022 Cheer Team. Please contact her directly at m_anten@mhs-hs.org if you would like to join the team.
