Maranatha Class of 2019 Finished Where They Started at Commencement

On Saturday, June 1, more than 1,000 people were in attendance for Maranatha’s 2019 Commencement, while others around the country watched the ceremony on the Internet.

Maranatha’s faculty, staff, families, friends, and other members of the school community gathered together to recognize and honor the Class of 2019 graduates for their hard work and academic accomplishments. The Commencement ceremony was held on the school’s beautiful Pasadena campus on the Keith Family Field. Having Commencement on the campus, rather than at a nearby venue, was significant for the graduates who had just completed a 4-year journey which began on that very spot.

Maranatha’s graduates will be attending a wide variety of excellent colleges and universities, including: New York University, UCLA, USC, UC Santa Barbara, Boston University, Loyola Marymount University, Texas Christian University, University of Oregon, University of San Diego, University of San Francisco, University of Arizona, Azusa Pacific University, Baylor University, Point Loma University, Chapman University, UC Santa Cruz, and many more.

With loved ones, faculty, and administrators watching and celebrating, the graduates received their diplomas and entered the ranks of the Maranatha Alumni family.
