Maranatha Girls Soccer Triumphs 3–1 Over Heritage Christian

On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the Maranatha High School Minutemen girls varsity soccer team earned a decisive 3–1 victory over Heritage Christian Warriors (Northridge, CA) in a hard-fought non-league matchup, marking an important turnaround for the Minutemen. Maranatha’s offense came alive behind strong attacking performances from Ella Klop and Jai Scipio, who combined to account for all three goals and applied constant pressure throughout the match.

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Maranatha and improved the team’s overall record to 4-12-1, providing a much-needed boost in confidence as the season progressed. Heritage Christian battled competitively but was unable to overcome Maranatha’s momentum, and the loss dropped the Warriors to 4-11-1 on the season, continuing a challenging stretch of games. The result highlighted Maranatha’s resilience and ability to respond under pressure, setting a positive tone as both teams prepared for their upcoming road contests later in the week.
