Maranatha High School Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

On Wednesday, November 13, four outstanding Maranatha Minutemen solidified their athletic achievements when they each signed a National Letter of Intent. A ceremony was held to honor these senior student athletes who will be competing in their chosen sport at colleges across the country.

Maddie Kane signed to play tennis for Azusa Pacific University. Maddie’s numerous accolades include the 2018 CIF-SS Division V Champion, 2018 Olympic League Singles MVP, and the 2018 CIF-SS Individuals Qualifier. Owen Hackman will be playing baseball for Loyola Marymount University. Owen, during his junior year at Maranatha, had a 0.85 ERA with four wins and zero losses, two no-hitters, and was also 2nd Team All-League. Eli Paton, also a baseball player, signed with UCLA. During his junior year at Maranatha, Eli had 18 RBIs and 2 home runs. Brock Vradenburg signed to play baseball for Michigan State University. Brock played 57 games over the course of his two years on Maranatha’s Varsity Baseball team. During that time, he batted an average .362, an RBI of 36, and was also a two-time 1st Team All-League.
