Maranatha High School Speech & Debate Heads to Berkeley for Cal Invitational

Maranatha High School Speech & Debate Team is headed to Berkeley this weekend for the Cal Invitational at University of California, Berkeley.

After weeks of dedicated after-school practices, about 10 students are prepared to compete in person (Feb. 14–16) in Public Forum Debate and multiple speech events. Even more impressive, the team will be stepping into varsity-level competition, taking on some of the top student speakers and debaters in the region.

The tournament offers a valuable opportunity to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and represent their school with excellence. The Maranatha community proudly cheers them on as they showcase their hard work and commitment. Let’s go, Minutemen!
