Maranatha High School Students Recognized in 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program

Maranatha High School proudly congratulates Griffin Lee for qualifying as a Semifinalist in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. From a pool of 1.3 million high school seniors nationwide, Griffin stands among the top 16,000 students who will compete for one of the 6,870 scholarships to be awarded next spring.

The school also extends its congratulations to Sophia Chung, Christina Li, and Matthew Rhee, who have been named Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. These outstanding students demonstrated exceptional academic promise, earning recognition among 50,000 students nationwide for their remarkable performance on the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Maranatha High School celebrates these students’ achievements with immense pride and looks forward to the meaningful contributions they will make in their future academic and professional journeys.
