Maranatha High School Theater Department Presents “Steel Magnolias”

Maranatha High School’s Arts Department is proud to present Robert Harling’s true-life story play “Steel Magnolias.”

There’s nothing better than seeing top-notch talent and no better time to kick off the theatrical season than by viewing the comedic drama “Steel Magnolias.” This story follows a strong, tenacious, female bond of six women in a small community of Louisiana who endure life’s tumults and tragedies with the help of one another’s friendship. The rich story-telling shows how these characters support one another through hilarious and heart wrenching experiences within the cycle of life.

Do not miss the opportunity to see the fabulous upper-class performers from Mrs. Peabody’s Advanced Theater class, with the directional help of Ms. Smith.

There are three performances that will be here in the blink of an eye, so mark your calendars now for Thursday, September 22, at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, September 24, at 2:00 and 7:00 pm.
