Maranatha High School Welcomes 190 Alumnae to its “Mom’s Dinner” Event

The Maranatha High School Alumni Office was thrilled to welcome over 190 current moms and mothers of alumni to the Moms’ Dinner on October 9. This event was one of many celebratory gatherings Maranatha is having this year as they celebrate their fiftieth year of providing Christ-centered, college preparatory education. Moms were greeted with an “aloha” and flowers for their hair at this luau themed dinner. Principal Michelle Purghart, Ed.D served as the evening’s emcee, and Headmaster David Gyertson, Ph.D. shared an update from the school and thanked moms for the many ways they support Maranatha. Moms were also encouraged by a word from Debbie Daniels, current mom, mother of alumni, and Director of Women’s Ministries at First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena.
