Maranatha High School’s Juried Student Art Exhibition

On view til May 20, 2022

Celebrate Maranatha’s visual artists at the annual Juried Student Art Exhibition.

Artwork from Art Introduction, AP Studio Art, the painting and drawing classes and the photo and graphic design courses will be on display in groups beginning April 25. The displays will be changed each week through May 20 to represent all student levels. All of the artwork will be carefully reviewed by a panel of judges and winners will be selected in various award categories. Awardees will be honored during Maranatha’s Academic Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 18.

The Juried Student Art Exhibition will begin with work created by the AP Studio Art class. Each student has chosen 5 works from their submitted AP portfolio. These artworks reflect an inquiry-based sustained investigation of materials, processes, and ideas through practice, experimentation, and revision. Following these selected works, the exhibition will showcase one piece of art from every student enrolled in a visual arts class.

On display in the Student Center:
April 25 – May 5: AP Studio Art
May 9 – May 13: Advanced Visual Art Courses
May 16 – May 20: Introductory Art Courses
