“Maranatha Students Thank Our Medical Professionals”

A group of Maranatha students recently wrote cards to thank the front-line workers at a local hospital.

Students from Maranatha’s chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) embarked on a service project with a goal of creating 75 cards for doctors, nurses, and technicians working at Glendale Memorial Hospital. According to Sarah Fritz ‘22, NHS Secretary, “We almost doubled our goal… creating 148 cards!”

MHS is delighted to see its students take initiative to serve others, demonstrating one of Maranatha High School’s four core values (faith, scholarship, community, service). Projects such as these are a tangible way for us to show God’s love to our community, our city, and the world.
