After suffering a lopsided loss to Rio Hondo Prep the previous week, Maranatha rebounded in impressive fashion on Thursday night, defeating the San Marino Titans 42–28. The Minutemen’s offensive surge provided the perfect response after being held scoreless in their last outing.

Quarterback Cooper Berry once again showcased his consistency and leadership. He completed 81.8% of his passes, throwing for 347 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for 37 yards and adding another score on the ground. Berry now holds an average of 308 passing yards per game this season.

Defensively, Maranatha limited San Marino’s aerial attack, holding the Titans to a 41.7% completion rate. The Minutemen’s secondary stood tall, with Sam Crisman and George Pamilton each recording an interception to stall San Marino’s momentum.

The Titans, despite the setback, had standout efforts of their own. Chase Mena collected 129 receiving yards and three touchdowns, including a highlight 73-yard reception. Quarterback Parker Wilson contributed with 215 passing yards and four touchdown throws, keeping San Marino within striking distance.

With the win, Maranatha improved its season record to 3–1, while San Marino slipped to 1–3.
