Maranatha Welcomes Heather Artura as New Cheer Coach

Maranatha High School’s Athletic Department recently announced the selection of Heather Artura as the school’s new Cheer coach.

Heather graduated from the University of the Pacific in 1995. While earning her teaching degree, she cheered for four years and assisted in choreographing dance routines.

Heather is currently a part-time first grade teacher as well as a published author. In her off-hours, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert, her son, Chase, who is a junior at Maranatha, and her daughter, Reese, who is a sophomore at Flintridge Sacred Heart.

Heather shared, “I am looking forward to being an integral part of the Cheer program at Maranatha, not only athletically, but also as a servant leader to MHS and the community.”

Maranatha Athletic Director Sammy Skinner commented, “Maranatha is fortunate to have Heather take over our Cheer program as she deeply cares and is invested in our students and our Cheer program. Heather is about making a positive difference in the lives of everyone she is involved with.”
