Maranatha’s Annual Gala Raises $125,000
On March 7, Maranatha High School held its Annual Gala, Jazzy Night Blues, at The Hilton Pasadena. Thanks to the hard work of a great committee, led by Gala Co-chairs Heather Dinger and Martha Gonzales, net proceeds from the event totaled $125,000. Heather Dinger shared, “Our amazing volunteers and staff came together to produce a first class experience for our parents and supporters to celebrate and raise critical funding for our wonderful school. We are blessed by everyone’s support.” Funds raised at the Gala will assist Maranatha in making significant acoustical and sound improvements in the school’s Student Center, which is used for a number of important events.
Jazzy Night Blues featured over 60 Silent Auction items and seven Live Auction items. Over 220 tickets were sold to the event, including more than 25 tickets for faculty and staff sponsored by generous donors. Maranatha is grateful to everyone who played a part in making this event a success – sponsors, ticket purchasers, auction bidders, committee members, and more. Martha Gonzales, Gala Co-chair shared, “We are beyond blessed to have had our community come together and raise funds for capital improvements at Maranatha High School.”
