Marengo Elementary Students Participate in Boundaries Assembly
On Friday, May 9, 2025, Marengo Elementary fourth and fifth grade students participated in a boundaries assembly as the culmination of social-emotional learning lessons for the school year.
Focused on setting, maintaining, and respecting personal boundaries, the assembly, led by professional self-defense instructor Amber Jaeger with the assistance of her husband Sam Jaeger, walked students through several different scenarios, such as physical contact when playing on the playground, personal space, or even just being aware when walking down the street.
Thank you to the Jaegers for leading a terrific assembly and to the students for being so inquisitive and such good listeners.
