Marshall Fundamental Offers Students Books and Instrument Tuning

Marshall Fundamental School, located at 990 N. Allen Ave., Pasadena, is distributing books and tuning string instruments for free for its students at least once a week.

On Fridays, students can pick up books curbside from the school librarian, Sara Scribner, along with Marshall Fundamental Security Officer Jason Tea. The books include those used as standard classroom materials, the Middle School Book Club, as well as other library books.

On Mondays, orchestra teacher Christopher Horikawa will tune students’ orchestra instruments for free in a drive-thru set-up, with everyone observing social distancing or staying in their cars.
