Marshall Fundamental welcomes April Lopez, Speech Language Pathologist.
Ms. April Lopez is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University of Fullerton and received her license from Loma Linda University. While taking some time to determine her career path, Ms. Lopez completed 25 units at the University of Southern California towards a masters degree in Education with a concentration of School Counseling, through the USC Rossier School of Education.
During her studies at USC, Ms. Lopez decided that speech language pathology was the field for her. Over the years, Ms. Lopez has worked as a licensed speech language pathologist assistant, treating children and adolescence with a variety of communicative disorders in schools, homes, and outpatient settings.
During her off time she enjoys volunteering, graphic design, and spending time with her dog, Madeline. April is so excited to be a part of the speech team at Marshall Fundamental and is looking forward to working with the staff and families to ensure that each student can perform at their highest level while communicating confidently and effectively.
