Marshall Senior Christian Chacon Wins District APSA Oratory Contest



Marshall Fundamental School senior Christian Chacon won the district APSA Oratory contest held Thursday, February 16. The local Region of the Association of California School Administrators each year sponsors a speech contest. This year the topic is “Awaken the Force Within.”

Christian won $100 for winning the Pasadena competition. Christian will now compete at the Region level March 8 at the Huntington Library. From this competition, 6 students will each win $500 and will be the keynote speakers to the ACSA Region XV Banquet on April 28 at the LA Equestrian Center in front of 600 school administrators.
