Mayfield Junior School: Celebrating Father Alan



Mayfield Junior School Students presented a lovely reflection at Morning Prayer today in honor of Father Alan Phillip’s 50th year as a priest in God’s service.

“We are blessed to have Father Alan in our community and are grateful for the Compassion, Forgiveness, Hospitality, Prayer and Sacrifice he models for us all.”

Father Alan Phillip, C.P, is a Catholic priest and member of the Passionist Religious Congregation. He received his Masters of Divinity from St. Meinrad School of Theology in St. Meinrad, Indiana, and has pursued further theological studies at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, llinois. Since his ordination in 1967, Fr. Alan has served as Associate Pastor at Immaculate Conception parish in Chicago, Illinois, and as Pastor at St. Agnes Parish in Louisville, Kentucky.
