Mayfield Junior School: Many Hands Make Quick Work

Mayfield Junior School fifth graders were recently busy packing over 60 lunches for delivery to Union Station Homeless Services. Lunch bags hand-decorated with colorful art and good wishes were filled to the brim with homemade sandwiches, fruit, and a few snacks.

Each month throughout the school year, a group of fifth graders will continue this outreach effort with the much-appreciated help of parent volunteers. Last year they delivered 540 lunches!
