MPG Announced the Marshall Eagle Awards



The Marshall Parent Group (MPG) of Marshall Fundamental School will host its first annual Recognition Award and breakfast on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. at Marshall Fundamental Cafeteria, 990 N. Allen Ave. Pasadena. This event will honor all those that have made an impact in the lives of Marshall Special Education students.

MPG will pay tribute to individuals that have gone above and beyond to create an inclusive environment for Marshall Special Needs Student population.  A nomination process has taken place and the winners will be announced at the breakfast.  The Eagle Awards will pay tribute to these heroic leaders of the Marshall community.

This very special event will feature remarks from the esteemed Principal Dr. Mark Anderson, members of the Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education leadership, and selections from the Marshall jazz band.

Marshall is a Silver Medal School and is leading the way in excellence.  In fact U. S. News and World Report Names Marshall Fundamental one of America’s Best High Schools. Marshall excels in test scores, the number of students that take the Advance Placement exams, the number of college scholarships awarded, and students awarded in a variety of competitions that include essay writing.  Marshall Students and staff exemplify the tradition of pride, tradition and excellence.

MPG Mission Statement:

The Marshall Parent Group (MPG) is a parent advocacy group focusing on creating an inclusive environment by building bridges not walls…focusing on Special Education issues and creating a community that supports all students reach their fullest potential.
