New Horizon Debate Team Takes First Place in Season Opener

It was a joyful Saturday for New Horizon School Pasadena as the NHS Debate Team brought pride to the school community at their first tournament of the year. Team members Aylin, Layla, and Sanah went undefeated all day, securing an impressive first-place finish among 89 competing teams. Their outstanding performance also helped New Horizon School tie with Harvard-Westlake for second place in overall percentage of wins, a testament to the team’s hard work and dedication.

The school is excited to see what this talented team, along with other members, will accomplish in the tournaments ahead, if God so wills it.
