Norma Coombs Second Graders Explore Marine Life at Cabrillo Aquarium Field Trip

Second grade students from Norma Coombs Elementary School recently enjoyed an exciting and educational field trip to the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium on April 3, 2026. The outing provided a hands-on opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of marine ecosystems while engaging with the fascinating sea life of Southern California.

Throughout the day, students explored interactive exhibits, observed native marine species up close, and participated in guided learning activities designed to spark curiosity and appreciation for ocean conservation. From touching tide pool creatures to learning about ocean habitats, the experience brought classroom science lessons to life in a meaningful and memorable way. The trip was filled with excitement, discovery, and plenty of smiles, making it a highlight of the school year for these young learners.
