Noted Children’s Book Author Maryrose Woods to Visit High Point Academy

Noted Children’s Book Author Maryrose Woods will visit High Point Academy on Monday, January 28th, 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Mary Rose Wood is the author of The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place, the acclaimed middle-grade series about a teenaged governess and her three raised-by-wolves pupils, published by Balzer + Bray.

Maryrose’s qualifications for writing these tales include a scandalous stint as a professional thespian, many years as a private governess to two curious and occasionally rambunctious pupils, and whatever literary insights she may have gleaned from living in close proximity to a clever but disobedient dog.
