Paradise Canyon Elementary Congratulates its 6th Graders!

The sixth grade class did a tremendous job on Dec. 6th as they presented Annie, Jr. at Lanterman Auditorium. The students worked diligently on their lines, songs, and blocking since the beginning of the year. Mr. Thom Vacca, the Drama Teacher, and Mrs. Roberts, the Music Teacher, collaborated on the musical production and ensured the students were ready for their performance. The sixth grade classroom teachers (Mrs. Budde, Mrs. Kazak, Mrs. Khanlarian, and Mrs. McClure) and many parent volunteers spent countless hours putting together the props, program, backdrops, make up, costumes, and numerous details that helped make the play come together. We would like to thank all of them for their contributions and positive energy.

Annie was played by Ellie Bowmer, who did a superb job with her lines and solos. She was supported by Julia Vallen as Miss Hannigan, Corey Koehler as Oliver Warbucks, Ellie Chapman as Grace Farrell, and the rest of the sixth grade class. All of the students were outstanding and came together well to put on a heart warming show. If you would like a DVD of the performance, please contact the office for ordering information.
