The PEF Summer Enrichment Program provides K-12 students exceptional learning opportunities combined with summer fun with more than 100 unique classes on 5 campuses serving 1,200 students. Registration opens on March 15 at 9:00 a.m.

2023 Dates: June 12 – Jul 13, 2023, 8:30 a.m. to 12:3 p.m. 5 weeks of exploration, discovery and summer fun!

The PEF Summer Enrichment Program provides K-12 students exceptional learning opportunities combined with summer fun with more than 80 unique classes on 4 campuses serving 1,200 students.

The summer program, in its 20th year, offers hands-on exploration opportunities to perform, explore, create, and strategize for students entering grades K-12. Students choose from 80 exceptional classes held on multiple Pasadena-area campuses. More than 100 Youth Leaders, from local high schools and colleges, volunteer to mentor students and support teachers and staff while gaining valuable work-related experience.

Note: Due to scheduled construction and cleaning maintenance, PEF won’t be at San Rafael or McKinley this summer. For Spanish DLIP classes, please see our offerings at Jackson. Middle school classes can be found at Norma Coombs and Eliot.

Afternoon Programs at all locations: Times vary

Locations:

Norma Coombs KINDER – 8TH GRADE – featuring new and old favorites, like Mock Trial, Cooking, and Board Games.
Field KINDER – 6TH GRADE – featuring Mandarin DLIP
Jackson – KINDER – 6TH GRADE – featuring Spanish and French DLIP
Eliot – 4TH GRADE – 12TH GRADE – featuring PEF’s High School program

Tuition:

K – 9TH GRADE (INTRO & BLOCK CLASSES)
$480 for PUSD students
$575 for Non-PUSD students

9TH – 12TH GRADE (HIGH SCHOOL)
$110 / week for PUSD students
$160 / week for Non-PUSD students

Some classes also charge an additional materials fee, as noted in the course description.

Tuition assistance and sibling discounts are available for qualifying families.

Afternoon Camp – $650 (Afternoon Camp tuition is charged separately from the morning program.)
