Pasadena Educational Foundation’s (PEF) Summer Enrichment Program 2021

The 18th year of the PEF Summer Enrichment Program will be in-person again. While its program will look a bit different this year, as always we will offer your child the chance to create, grow, and connect in energetic and engaging ways.

While PEF wish they could have everyone back on campus, due to limited class sizes, this summer’s program will be made available only to current or incoming PUSD students.

GRADES K-8
JUNE 14 – JULY 15 M-TH, 8:30 AM -12:30 PM
(No classes Monday, July 5)

GRADES 9-12
JUNE 14 – JULY 2 M-TH, 8:30 AM -12:30 PM

The PEF Summer Enrichment Program is focused on providing an engaging summer of learning for our students. All classes will have integrations of social emotional learning, arts, and movement.

Here are some updates to our 2021 program:

• You will choose one main class for the day – it will be your child’s base for a vibrant summer day. Through added elements of art, science, and/or movement, each class will be a full and rich experience – one that offers deep learning, but most of all, fun
• All COVID-19 health department protocols will be followed, including social distancing and mask requirements.
• Individual classroom materials will be provided for each student.
School-sites: Field, Jackson, McKinley, San Rafael, and Sierra Madre MS

High School & College Volunteer Opportunities

High school and college students in PEF Summer Volunteer Program develop the skills of Leadership, Mentorship and Scholarship while working with younger students and alongside teachers. Learn More

SUMMER 2020 | AT HOME EDITION

You can still create, explore, and grow with video lessons, activities and more from our 2020 At Home Edition at PEFSummer.org.

While Pasadena Educational Foundation weren’t be able to be physically together last year, PEF brought some of your favorite summer teachers to you. PEF created a new website with lessons for grades PreK-12 in a variety of fun subjects like robotics, cooking, visual art, dance, yoga, and more.

Video lessons are available to watch at anytime and have lesson plans to download, too!
