Pasadena High School Advances to Second Round of CIF-SS Playoffs

The Pasadena High School Bulldogs are moving on in the CIF Southern Section Division 2A playoffs after a dominant 55-37 victory over Beverly Hills on Wednesday night. With the win, the Bulldogs (Pacific League #2, 17-7) advance to the second round, where they will face the top-seeded Irvine Vaqueros (Pacific Coast League #1, 27-2) on Friday, February 14, at 7:00 PM.

Irvine secured their spot in the second round with an impressive 64-42 win over Bishop Amat in their opening matchup. The highly anticipated game will take place at Irvine High School (4321 Walnut Ave., Irvine, CA), where Pasadena will look to pull off an upset against one of the top teams in the division.
