Pasadena High School Welcomes Nolan Lewis as New Girls Basketball Head Coach

Pasadena High School has announced the hiring of Coach Nolan Lewis as the new head coach of the Bulldogs girls basketball program.

Coach Lewis brings years of basketball experience and player development expertise to Pasadena High School. Most recently, he served as Head Assistant Coach and Director of Basketball Operations at Bishop Alemany High School, where he specialized in shooting instruction and player development. During his five-year tenure, the program achieved multiple Division I playoff appearances and captured an undefeated league championship.

Known for his emphasis on discipline, consistency, and skill development, Lewis has earned respect for his ability to mentor student-athletes both on and off the court. His coaching philosophy centers on building strong fundamentals, fostering teamwork, and creating a competitive culture that helps athletes reach their full potential.

“I am incredibly honored to join the Pasadena community,” Coach Lewis said. “My goal is to build a program that values hard work, consistency, and toughness. I can’t wait to get in the gym with these athletes and start building something special.”

Pasadena High School officials expressed excitement about the future of the Bulldogs program under Lewis’s leadership, citing the energy, experience, and commitment he brings to the team.
