Pasadena High School’s Dr. Eric Barba Named PUSD Principal of the Year

The Pasadena Unified School District welcomed employees back for the 2026-2027 school year on Wednesday, August 12, at its annual All-Staff Welcome Back event, held at Pasadena High School. Five awards were presented during the celebration, including the prestigious Principal of the Year honor, which was presented to Pasadena High School Principal Dr. Eric Barba.

Dr. Barba has served as principal of Pasadena High School since 2024 and was recognized for his strong, collaborative leadership and his unwavering commitment to supporting both students and staff. His leadership has helped foster a school community where students and educators can thrive, making the honor a fitting recognition of his dedication.
