Pasadena Unified Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Blanco Named ACSA Region XV Superintendent of the Year

The Pasadena Unified School District is proud to announce that Dr. Elizabeth Blanco has been named Superintendent of the Year by the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region XV. This distinguished honor recognizes Dr. Blanco’s exemplary leadership, her steadfast commitment to student achievement, and her efforts to advance innovation and equity throughout the district.

Since taking on the role of Superintendent, Dr. Blanco has championed initiatives that prioritize academic excellence, inclusive learning environments, and strong community partnerships. Her visionary leadership has strengthened PUSD’s mission to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, career, and life.

The ACSA Region XV award celebrates educational leaders who go above and beyond in their roles. Dr. Blanco’s dedication to collaboration, data-informed decision-making, and student-centered strategies has made a lasting impact across schools and communities in Pasadena.
