Pasadena Waldorf School Brings the Community Together for a Joyful Juneteenth Celebration

What a beautiful day of celebration, learning, and community! Pasadena Waldorf School’s Juneteenth celebration brought our community back home to our Altadena campus to honor Black freedom, resilience, culture, and joy. From double dutch and hair braiding to cake walks, live music, dancing, delicious food, and plenty of laughter, the day was filled with connection, celebration, and unforgettable memories. It was inspiring to see families, friends, and neighbors come together to celebrate the history, traditions, and enduring spirit of Juneteenth. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, supporters, and community members who made this day possible. Whether you baked, served, organized, led activities, or simply joined us in celebration, your generosity and enthusiasm made all the difference. Thank you to everyone who came out – “we’re so grateful to celebrate with such a vibrant and caring community!”
