Pasadena Waldorf School Launches Pickleball Program with Pro Support

It was an exciting day of dinking, volleying, and pickleball at Pasadena Waldorf High School as the fastest-growing sport in the nation arrived on campus! Thanks to the generosity of pickleball pros John, Isaac, and the iPickle team, the school’s new pickleball program was launched with a fantastic donation of nets, paddles, balls, and top-tier coaching. Special thanks also go to Pickleball Effect for their generous contribution of new paddles for the students. The pros showcased their skills in an exhibition match, led drills, and shared intriguing details about the sport’s history, including the fun fact that the world’s top women’s player, Anna Leigh Waters, is a 17-year-old high school student. Students are now gearing up to form the PWS Pickleball Squad under the guidance of iPickle’s coaches, with plans to debut on the courts this December.
